Microsoft issues Internet Explorer security fix

For all of our customers, we have already triggered a forced update to install this patch for all systems. SAN FRANCISCO — Microsoft issued a fix on Thursday for a security flaw in Internet Explorer that led the Department of Homeland Security to suggest users change browsers until the problem was solved. The fix updates the computers of all users of the Windows operating system who have automatic updates turned on, the company said on its security response page. Microsoft issues workaround for Internet Explorer bug

Microsoft has issued a work around for the security problem within internet explorer including an illustrated walk-through. Here is the walk-through guide SAN FRANCISCO — While a patch has not yet been issued, Microsoft has posted instructions on how users can protect the two most recent versions of Internet Explorer against a security flaw announced over the weekend. Flash update fixes bug unrelated to IE zero-day flaw

This is a rather dangerous situation, we are recommending that all of our customers not use Internet Explorer until further notice on our blog. Adobe and Microsoft patch a critical zero-day security flaw in Adobe’s Flash Player that is actively being used to target Windows users, but the bug is different from an unpatched hole in Internet Explorer. Interlock Support Bulletin – USPS/UPS/DHL/FEDEX Virus

In an effort to stop this virus from spreading, we are sending out a bulletin to advise you to be extremely cautious if you receive an email from USPS/FEDEX/UPS or DHL regarding a failed delivery attempt. The email appears to be valid and looks very convincing, however it is a virus that will render your computer unusable and cause it to continuously reboot.
